[00:00:00] Speaker A: All right, guys, today we're going to do something fun, something warm, and something for winter. Today we're going to have a winter cocktail showdown. And my wife Toni is going to help pick these drinks. So, as you know, I'm not a drink maker, but I got this brand new winter edition Red Bull, Fiji apple and ginger. And what'd you think about it, Tony?
[00:00:22] Speaker B: It was very tasty, very sweet.
[00:00:25] Speaker A: Yeah, but you said, oh, I thought.
[00:00:27] Speaker B: It tasted like apple.
[00:00:28] Speaker A: Yeah, it tasted like apple.
[00:00:29] Speaker B: Yeah, so.
[00:00:31] Speaker A: So ChatGPT and I sat down and we wrote a couple of cocktail recipes. Because again, I'm not a guy that can make great cocktails, am I?
[00:00:41] Speaker B: No.
[00:00:42] Speaker A: What. What's wrong with the cocktails I make?
[00:00:44] Speaker B: Usually you overdo the alcohol.
[00:00:48] Speaker A: Overdo the alcohol. That's right. Because the best part of a cocktail, the alcohol. So the first one we're going to do is the winter apple agave fizz. So this one is a couple ounces of a reposado, and I use the brand new Yayo Soul tequila. Now this I thought would go great because it's aged in apple cider cast. And we're talking about an apple drink. Let's pour. I gotta pour a little bit of this in here for each of us.
And this is gonna be the first cocktail. And we're gonna top this off with the winter edition apple ginger Red Bull. And we both wanna stay up tonight, right? We gotta. We're drinking some tequila. Might as well have a fun evening with a little Red Bull to stay awake. And the best thing to stir stuff with chopsticks, right? So let's stir this one up. This is gonna be our first one, the winter Agape apple fizz. Okay, so here's what's in here. 2 ounces of reposado blanco. I use the yayo sole, the 2025, because it is aged in apple cider gas. It's got an ounce of apple cider, a half ounce of fresh lime, a quarter ounce of ginger syrup, and then we topped it off with that winter Red Bull. So let's give it a try, see what you think. Cheers.
Oh, that's really good. Yeah, that's kind of ridiculous, Gary. Okay, that's a winner. I haven't even tried the other one yet. What do you think?

[00:02:20] Speaker B: Refreshing drink and actually even be an apple. That could be a summer drink too, because it.
It's refreshing.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: It is so good. Like, that one's really good. All right, so drink number two is the winter Red Bull Paloma. So we're gonna have a Little mix of a plastic paloma.
I guess you'd say it. A winter twist. So this one's got everything that you have in a paloma, right. It's got a couple ounces of the same apple tequila. It has a couple ounces of grapefruit. It has an ounce of apple cider, a half ounce of lime, a little pinch of cinnamon. And then also we're going to top it off with the winter edition Red Bull. And that's been sitting on ice, so that one should be pretty good.
Again, we're going to use our chopstick to stir it up. Everything else was shaken, but you got to add this in a minute. Okay. So cheers. The cheers probably looks funny in the split screen, so I kind of like.

[00:03:21] Speaker A: Do you like this one better?
[00:03:22] Speaker B: It's more. It's more apple y.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: So to me I pick up that grapefruit. But I. I agree it actually I'd have either one of these.
[00:03:30] Speaker B: Oh, for sure.
[00:03:31] Speaker A: So I did get to use my Stanley, what is probably the coolest shaker cup. And these little cups here actually go in that Stanley. So pretty cool little shaker. The winter Red wolf winter edition Fiji apple and ginger. Check this out. It's really good.
[00:03:47] Speaker B: I think with this drink I tasted more ginger, which don't give me wrong, it's good.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: I agree there is more ginger in that.
[00:03:54] Speaker B: So I guess depending on what you're wanting and what you like, preference, more gender or more apple.
[00:04:00] Speaker A: This one was sweeter to me.
[00:04:01] Speaker B: Yeah, it is.
[00:04:02] Speaker A: Yeah, it's sweeter. And I can. I can taste that yayo tequila a little better.
Even though it's the same amount of tequila in each one. Although there's an extra ounce of grapefruit in this one because it's two and two and then one and this had, you know, two ounces and two ounces and then just the lime juice. I'll put the recipe on here. I think ChatGPT did a great job making a couple of drinks, you know.
[00:04:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:23] Speaker A: So if you're trying to figure out what's a drink to make and you don't know and you're like me, you don't know how to make a drink.
[00:04:28] Speaker B: Chatgpt or tasting tequila with bread.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: I'm gonna say the winter agave apple fizz is my favorite one. You're picking the paloma. Okay. Well, if you need a Red Bull drink to stay awake at the end of Thanksgiving because you ate all that turkey and you're tired, you need a lot of tequila to get through dealing with family. Right.
Yeah. Not our family, because ours is pretty easy. But think of the olden days when everybody.
[00:04:54] Speaker B: Yeah. We have small gatherings, so. And it's our kids. We love our kids. They love us.
[00:04:59] Speaker A: They do. We're cool parents, I think. I think we're cool parents. All right, well, put in the comments what you thought of these cocktails and definitely give them a try. I will have the ingredients in the descriptions, so you can check those out. And we probably won't do this again before the holiday. So do you want to say anything to these guys?

[00:05:25] Speaker A: Yeah, we'll probably be drunk on a Saturday or New Year's Eve.

[00:05:30] Speaker A: A New Year's Eve drink. Maybe we could do a live on New Year's Eve since we're gonna have a party.
