[00:00:00] You've seen me sit down with Chris, one of the founders of Musica Tequila, to talk about how music passion inspired this brand. But today, it's all about what's in the bottle. This Musica Blanco tequila crafted at nom 1598 in the tequila Valles. And it's got everything you'd want in a bright, expressive blanco. Ripe agave, tropical fruit. Just a touch of a niece. It makes it sing. So let's taste it. If you caught my interview with Chris, you know that music at Tequila is built on authenticity and art, artistry. Every bottle meant to play like a perfect song. It's produced at nom 1598 in the valley of Jalisco, where the volcanic soil gives a signature minerality and a depth to the agaves. We're talking about 100% Tequiliana Weber Blue agave cooked in a low pressure autoclave, extracted with a roller mill, fermented in a stainless steel tank with deep well water, and twice distilled in stainless steel pots with copper coils. This tequila in the Vallez is done with great craftsmanship and is done right. Let's give it a pour. [00:00:57] As you can see, this is one that is almost gone. I'm gonna have to find me another bottle soon. [00:01:03] All right, let's go on the nose. Musica Blanco hits with a beautiful, fresh, tangy, and sweet agave. It's. It's like a ripe, clean agave. Not as much as a cooked agave. There's a little bit of minerality, black licorice and anise in that note. Gives it a lot of character. The crazy thing is I also pick up banana, pineapple, and a little bit of white pepper. It's like a tropical medley playing the perfect harmony that smells alive, clean, vibrant, and layered. Okay, let's jump in. All right, first sip. Cooked agave jumps out. That's when I pick up, right at the end of that cooked agave, some banana, some mango, some lime, and some melon. I get a subtle anise flavor with a little bit of cinnamon spice. Also some minerality. The mouth feel is light, it's crisp, but this is a very approachable blanco. It's not deeply complex, but this is a sipper for me. It's one that, to me, it's really well balanced. It has just enough kick to remind you that it's a good tequila. Like, it's. It has a really nice balance to it for me. Finishes short to medium, clean pepper, anise, a lingering note of sweet agave. It's an easy sipper. It doesn't overwhelm you. It's definitely one that you can do kind of pour after pour and then realize you you drink too much of it there in the end of the evening. And what about this bottle? Musica nailed this design. There's a great story of how this elegant modern bottle really bec Chris, not only a musician and a record producer but also an engineer tells the story of how they crafted this entire bottle in the interview that we did. If you haven't already check it out. Just look for Musica tequila on my YouTube channel. We walk through his entire journey from the music world to the tequila, what makes his brand stand out and also all of the good things they do to help several music foundations and supporting local bands.
