Mosto Reposado Tequila Review | Highlands Flavor & Smooth Finish

[00:00:00] Man, I got a great one for you tonight. This one is musto, and it is their reposado master distiller, Oscar Vasquez. And this is a fantastic Highlands Tequila. So I did an interview with Paulo and Dave, and they talk about their whole process of making this tequila. I'm telling you, it is pretty interesting to hear them talk about how they're doing this. It's coming out of Nom 1580, and Oscar is just really great at making some great flavors in a tequila. And he did it here. This one is really fantastic. So let's dive into it real quick. Give it a nose. [00:00:37] You got some great cooked agave. You get some minerality right off the bat. Almost like the smell of rain in the springtime. You get some citrus out of there and it just smells amazing. So let's give it a taste. [00:00:51] A really nice sweetness with some great minerality. Actually, get some orange and some lime and a little bit of salinity. [00:01:00] And you get a little lime in the finish too. And you do pick up just a little bit of that barrel nuance, A little bit of caramel and vanilla. [00:01:09] But this one is so easy to drink. It has such a great flavor. This one's such an easy one to drink. Coming in at just 80 proof. They actually talk about it in the interview. So if you want to listen to their process of how they make this tequila, Paolo and Dave go into the entire process. The idea behind the name is pretty cool. The logo that they do did and how they came up with the logo is a pretty neat story as well. So definitely one to check out. It is. I'll put a link at the end down here.
