[00:00:00] Four killer reposados. One winner. Let's find out which one actually deserves your money. All right, guys, tonight I'm gonna do a reposado blind utilizing Gascoign, the regular house repo. Then we're going to use the brand new primo. This isn't the one at 1579. This is the one at Group Roblanco 1693. And then, of course, we're gonna have lot 139R, this fantastic Fortaleza reposado. And let's put it up against one of my favorites and one of my wife's favorites. This is the siempre, and it is the reposado. And I finished this bottle off with what I poured into the blind. Let's move those out of the way and let's pull in the star of the show, the solo blind. So I have poured the tequila in each one of these. I wrote the name on the tags. I have no idea which one could be. I'm going to spin it around just to make sure. Utilizing the fantastic silver blind. And. All right, that should have mixed them up to where I'm not going to have any idea. Let's pull them out of their spaces. All right, here we go. Let's dive into the first one for the nose. Ooh. This one I get. There's a lot of minerality, some nice cooked agave. Let's dive into this next one. Cooked agave minerality, some nice citrus notes, a little teeny bit of a floral note.
[00:01:21] Ah, wet concrete earth vegetableness. This is a really nice smelling tequila. Nice vegetal cooked agave, A little bit of floral, but a nice vegetal note as well. But I gotta tell you, these are four tequilas I really enjoy. But one of them I don't drink very often, which is the Costcoin. Although it's one of my favorite brands, I tend to drink the Plata 48 more than I do the repo. And I haven't had the siempre repo in quite a while. So many tequilas have been showing up. I've been tasting a lot of different.
[00:01:53] Fortaleza, of course, is fantastic. So now let's go through the tastes of these great cooked agave, A little bit of oak, some nice bitterness with some anise, like, real peppery finish.
[00:02:07] That is. Wow, that's really good. That's. That's really good. All right, let's dive into this one too.
[00:02:13] I'm pretty sure I know what this one is. I love this earthiness, this limestone. Just a really light bit of Oak, A nice little small amount of citrus, but it leads more into a vegetable note. I think I know which one that one is.
[00:02:27] Cooked agave.
[00:02:28] Really strong minerality with a nice citrus note.
[00:02:33] I actually think I know what that one is too. Let's try this last one here.
[00:02:37] Very floral, very citrus cooked agave. I definitely pick up that oakiness. So, okay, now when I thought I knew what the other ones were. Now I'm not sure again. So this finish is really peppery and really nice. I'm going to taste through each one again. Wow, that's also a little fruity. Okay. Yeah. Okay. This is going to be a hard one. I like every one of these. I'm going to say number one, number two, number three, and number four based on taste and nose. So let's. Let's crack number four. Let's see which one it is.
[00:03:08] Okay. I didn't write anything on this one, so I completely screwed that up. So hopefully I wrote on the rest of them. So let's do if that was number four. Let's do number three.
[00:03:19] Okay, Number three, Cascawine. Cascawine was number three. Number two, which was this one here.
[00:03:27] Fort.
[00:03:29] Fort Daleza. Fortaleza. That's number three. Number two. So number one.
[00:03:37] How about 14? 14.
[00:03:40] Number one tonight is siempre. So that means this one was Primo. I can't believe I forgot to write it down. So we got number one, Siempre.
[00:03:50] Number two, Fortaleza. Number three, Costcoine. And number four, Primo. And I gotta tell you, you can't go wrong with any of these tequilas. These are all amazing brands. So if you like blinds, if you like interviews, if you like learning about tequila, hit that like and subscribe button. Tell me which one of these is your favorite tequila. Cheers. Have a great night tonight. Pick some good tequila to drink.
