[00:00:00] All right, guys, I've got a new to me tequila that I'm really excited about. Cuenta Lisa. This is coming out of nom 1522 and this is a repo. And look at that nice color that's on there. This is a fresh pour master distiller. Ileana partita. These agaves are coming from the Valles. So all valley agaves, they're using the high pressure autoclave there, they're using a roller mill and then they're going into open fermentation there at their distillery, which is amazing. What makes this really special as a tequila is how they're aging it. It says right here, they're aging this in finished American oak coffee barrels from Chiapas, Mexico. I probably said that wrong because I say things like that wrong all the time. So this is, you know, taking tequila and trying to give us another twist to it. So this is a double barreled process. So they use an American white oak barrels and these coffee barrels. And I'm really curious to see how it affects the taste of the tequila. So let's dive into the nose first. I get the cooked agave smell and I also get a barrel note, that musty barrel smell that I like. But I also do get a hint of coffee. I also get a hint of some fruitiness as well. So cooked agave, some barrels, some coffee, Maybe the fruit, more of like a dried fruit. So what, what an interesting nose on this. I really like the bottle as well. The presentation is pretty cool. Talks about right there. Double barreled tequila reposado. This is an all organic product that's USDA organic, is pretty neat that they're taking that extra touch to give us a good quality organic tequila. Let's dive into the taste here a little bit. Wow. I get the cooked agave, I get a barrel note, this musty, nice barrel taste. I pick up that black coffee, that very nice hint of coffee, which really just lends a new flavor into what is already a great tequila. I pick up some dried fruit and I also get a little bit of chocolate, like a dark chocolate note. It kind of brings out some creaminess in this sweetness is really there. That dark coffee note that goes into the finish is there. You get a nice little peppery finish as well. And again, there's that dried fruit. This fruitiness, this, there's a little minerality in there as well that I pick up. And then that, that chocolate, that dark chocolate. This, this is very complex. I. I can't wait to let this open up and drink it more. Definitely probably shouldn't drink it for breakfast, but I could. It's got a great coffee note in there that's really interesting. But this is, to me, this is a great dessert type tequila where I think it's coming in at that $69 to $79 range. As a repo, it really gives me more of an anejo complexity. I think because of that added coffee barrel is bringing a few notes that I wouldn't normally pick up in a repo. It does have a little bit more darkness, but again, double barreled with the coffee barrel, that's going to definitely bring a little more to the party. Great legs on it, has a great thickness, a great viscosity. And when you're talking about NOM 1522, we are talking about Iliana Partida, a fantastic master distiller that's really willing to push the boundaries and really create tastes and do some special things. And this right here, what a great presentation of something special. It definitely is a tequila that is bold in flavor, complex and unique. Look for this one. Quinta Lisa. Man, this is fantastic. I want to say thanks to the brand for sending me this to try. They reached out to me on Instagram. I had never tasted it before and I've read some other people's reviews, reviews and really wanted to check it out. It's also very high rated on the tequila matchmaker website in those 85s and 86s, and those are great numbers. So thank you very much for the bottle. This is amazing. I'm going to take the rest of the evening to just kind of chill out, watch a little tv and definitely enjoy this. If you've had this tequila, mention it in the comments. Let me know what your thoughts are. And if there's a tequila that I haven't reviewed that you'd like to see me talk about, definitely throw it down there. I'd love to talk to everybody and listen to what they have to say. Thanks. Have a great night.
