Can I Find the Reposado? | Blind Tequila Tasting
Can you really tell the difference between a Reposado tequila and a barrel rested Blanco in a blind tasting?
In today's blind tequila challenge, I taste four outstanding tequilas without knowing which is which. Three are barrel rested Blancos that have picked up subtle oak influence while keeping their vibrant agave character, and one is a true Reposado.
Featured tequilas include:
Polanco Blanco
Ocho Reposado
Tierra de Ensueño Batch 8
Manuscrito Cuatro Puertas
Can traditional tequila production, oak influence, minerality, cooked agave, citrus, pepper, and baking spices reveal the Reposado... or will the Blancos fool me?
