[00:00:00] Okay guys, I'm back for another one. And I popped on the 1414 gear. Another Sergio Cruz masterpiece. A little siempre. I have not opened this one yet. This is a really special bottle. This is the single barrel Vivo on Yeho that Long Island Lou actually picked out. So this is a single barrel pick by Long Island Louis. I do believe it is sold out. I do not believe that you can get it anymore. It probably sold out the day that they talked about it. As soon as I heard about it, I, I jumped on off premise, hit up Adam and ordered me a bottle really quick because I knew it wasn't going to last very long. So fresh pop here. [00:00:45] Ah, there you go. [00:00:47] Wow. So if you don't know Long Island Louis Lou Agave, he is a guy from Long island that's been doing reviews and talking about tequila for a long time. And if you haven't watched his videos or follow him on YouTube or Instagram and Facebook and tick tock, you have to. He's awesome. He knows this industry front and back. He knows everything about it and really has great connections with so many brands and I learned so much from watching his videos put plus, he's awesome. He's a lot of fun. So this on Yeho it is like I said, lose barrel. It's Vivo. It's coming. This is bottle number 56 out of 198, 47.5 ABV. [00:01:32] And I am fired up to give this one a try. [00:01:36] They only bottled nine barrels of this and this is the only one that is going to be a single barrel. And this set in American white oak casts. And Lou tasted through those barrels and picked the one that he liked the best. So that's what this one is. And this is Vivo. This is the exclusive Vivo Blanco tequila that got rested in these barrels. And we all, I shouldn't say we all know about Vivo because not everybody does. Vivo is a tequila that they fermented it and then before the yeast dine, they distilled it with live yeast. Yeast, which is something that's never done. And it, it created a fantastic creamy, buttery, earthy flavor. The super agave for it. It is absolutely one of my favorite blancos to drink. It's up there with. I, I know it's not a go to because they're so hard to find for me, but it's definitely a cherished bottle and I absolutely love drinking it. So as an, you know, Lou has such a long time history and knowing about these and barrel aging that, you know, I'm sure He's got a great pick here. So let's, let's give it a. Let's give it a nose. [00:02:42] Wow. The barrel on that is so good. And the cooked agave and I actually get a little bit of cinnamon in the nose to get that nice barrel, musty smell. Those, those barrel notes. I get a little bit of caramel. [00:02:57] I get the cooked agave some earthiness and a little bit of citrus, like kind of a little bit of orange. [00:03:06] That's amazing. Let's. Let's give it a little taste. So sweet and agave forward caramelly. The finish has got a nice peppery cinnamon finish. I get that cinnamon in the finish. I got a little bit of citrus in the front. You get that creaminess of the vivo. [00:03:27] You get that. I don't know how to really explain how that feeling is in your mouth. It's. It coats your mouth and then it gives you a tingle in the mouth and has this really amazing agave forward flavor. And then, then you get that, that caramelly and vanilla and the citrus and the cinnamon and the finish, like it's just a, an agave bomb with cinnamon and this amazing barrel notes. I didn't really think you could improve upon the vivo very much because it's such a good tequila, but rested. This is amazing. [00:04:03] Lou told me let it rest. That it once opens up, it even gets better. [00:04:09] So I may come back and do another video and revisit this because you've seen me fresh crack. I've been kind of holding off. My sinuses weren't great the last two days, so I wanted to make sure that I got really good smell and taste and wow, this is, this is a hit. This goes in the cherished bottle column that this is probably not going to be shared a whole lot. Long Island. Lou, thanks for making a great pick on the barrel. Alex, Sergio, Monica, thanks for doing such a phenomenal job experimenting and really making fantastic tequila. I just, I'm. I'm proud to get to know Alex and know how much work goes into what they do and how much Sergio puts his whole life into making great tequilas and a quality product. You can't go wrong with anything. See and pray. So, guys, thanks for making a great tequila. If you can find this somewhere, buy it, try it. It's probably going to be on the secondary market, so I'm telling you, it'll be worth every penny that you spend on phenomenal cheers.
