[00:00:01] Hey, let me ask you a question. Do you have the cojones to go out to the liquor store and buy a good tequila? Co Jones this blanco is fantastic. Coming out of Nom 1588, Bob and Cecilia, who own this company, have a long time history in the tequila world. Not only owning the first tequila bar in all of Connecticut that was also called C.O. jones, but they decided to take it and make a fantastic tequila. And they really did a great job. They didn't go and find a company that would just throw their name on a tequila. They went and actually were part of the process, part of the process of coming up with the profile and the flavors in the tequila. I do have a video where I got to interview them. I'll link it to the back of this video, go check it out on my YouTube channel and listen to their story because they have a great story on how they came up with that name and it's really cool. C.O. jones. So let's, let's do a little review here. The tequila.
[00:01:00] We get a nice fruity bouquet on this.
[00:01:04] A good cooked agave.
[00:01:07] I get a little bit of cinnamon and it's really fruity. That's. That is very nice. It's a really pleasant aroma that you get there.
[00:01:30] This has a very traditional flavor. You really pick up that cooked agave flavor has a great mouthfeel, a nice viscosity to it. I get a lot of minerals in the flavor. I also pick up a little bit of dried fruit.
[00:01:53] I almost want to say I think it's a little bit of pear every time I taste this one. As you can see, it's not my first time trying to. Every time I taste it, I pull out some different flavors. It's like the more that it rests, the more flavors come out of this one. I actually get a nice cinnamon allspice in the finish. Just a little bit of a lingering in the back of the jowls there. This is a very well balanced tequila. It is a very good Tequila.
[00:02:21] The nose is really good. I like the aroma of this one. You can smell so many different things. The first one, you get a floral, fruity bouquet. The second time, I got a little bit of citrus in the, in the smell. That last time it's a little bit more cooked agave and some citrus fruits.
[00:02:45] Like I said, a little bit of cinnamon, a little bit of dried fruit. And I get a nice little dryness in the back too. If you want to hear about their, their process of how they make this tequila, go check out the video.
[00:02:56] I'll link it in this video. It's on my YouTube channel, where we do a full interview. They talk about their master distiller. They talk about how they came up with the profile. They talk about how they came up with the name, and really explain the whole tequila here. I do know they're only available in Connecticut at this time, but I know they'll be growing this out everywhere. And if you can find it, or if you're in Connecticut and you see it, pick it up. CO Jones what a fantastic tequila. There's also a really cool story on all of the inside of the bottle. They've got some really great logos and things on the inside, and we talk about that in the video. So check it out. Thanks for tuning in. Have a great night.
