[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hey, guys, I'm fired up tonight to have my better half, Tony, here with me again today. Last time you were on, we did what? We did a blanco blind, right? [00:00:09] Speaker B: We did. Yep. [00:00:11] Speaker A: Yeah. And. And you had fun on that, right? [00:00:13] Speaker B: Yep. [00:00:13] Speaker A: And today we're going to do a repo blind. All right? So I get lots of people tell me a good way to do this, and then when it's time to do it, I forget how they told me to do it. I poured her four glasses out of these four amazing tequilas. El Tesoro Musto and the new Yayo Repo. So I poured those so I know which four hers are, and I poured. [00:00:38] Speaker B: Those so I know which four his are. [00:00:42] Speaker A: So we won't be drinking the same thing at the same time because we just don't know. Unless we accidentally poured exactly the same thing. [00:00:48] Speaker B: That would be something. [00:00:49] Speaker A: That'd be crazy. Yeah, but I. I bet it didn't happen that way. So what we're going to do is all four of these are already fantastic tequilas. We know that. Right. But these are, you know, really pretty different tequilas, all from different noms. Sometimes we have same noms. So different noms and three tequilas, mostly from the highlands and one from the valleys or valles, as I'm supposed to say. So you ready? Are you going to dig into them? [00:01:16] Speaker B: Yep, I'm ready. [00:01:17] Speaker A: Okay, what are you going to start with? You're starting number one. Okay, well, I'll do number one, too. We'd not be being the same thing, but we can still talk about number one together. That smells good. Mine does smell like tequila. Smells like tequila. But this one, to me, it smells like it might be the yayo. It's got a little bit of tropical fruit smell to it. I could be wrong, but seems like I get a little bit of that rum cast. Should we nose each one and then taste each one or should we nose and taste? Your choice, guest choice. [00:01:48] Speaker B: Let's nose and taste. [00:01:49] Speaker A: Okay, so I'm gonna taste number one. [00:01:52] Speaker B: I don't know what mine again, smells like. I like the taste of this. It's like I want to say. I want to say fruity, maybe. Fruity. [00:02:00] Speaker A: My number one is fruity, too. Like tropical fruit. [00:02:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a smooth. There's not a lot of burn. [00:02:04] Speaker A: No. A little warm in the mouth and the finish. Oh, my. Yes. We're not drinking the same thing potentially. And we're drinking out of different glasses, too. You have the agave social respecto and maybe a fortune's full glass I am drinking out of the Saboro Cultura glasses that we got at the event in Chicago a couple weeks ago, which was amazing, wasn't it? [00:02:27] Speaker B: Oh, that was so fun. Yes. And amazing. So many amazing brands. Tequila brands. Yes. [00:02:34] Speaker A: I just wish I remembered more of it. [00:02:35] Speaker B: Well, I mean, my goodness, how. There were so many tastings, so. Yeah. [00:02:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I. There were so many great tequilas. We had a great time, a lot of culture, great music, and amazing people. And that was pretty cool. Pretty cool. [00:02:50] Speaker B: This is an agave social club. [00:02:52] Speaker A: Yeah, you got agave social club. And then fortune fools and a respect, though, and I think a fortune fool at the end. Right. Okay. [00:02:58] Speaker B: It had a perfume taste the second time. [00:03:01] Speaker A: Perfume. [00:03:02] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:02] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:02] Speaker B: That's so, I guess, floral. [00:03:04] Speaker A: Is that G. It could be floral, yeah. Yeah, that would be perfumey, I guess. Okay. I. I feel like I actually. I feel like I know what that is in the finish. It answers what I think that is. [00:03:19] Speaker B: Are you guessing which one? [00:03:21] Speaker A: No, but I will, because I would. You can say which one you like the best, and I'll guess which ones they are. How's that? [00:03:26] Speaker B: Okay. [00:03:27] Speaker A: All right, let's jump into number two. Did you like how I could write on the glasses? [00:03:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:33] Speaker A: Yeah. That pin's pretty nifty. [00:03:37] Speaker B: If it washes off. [00:03:38] Speaker A: It does. It's. It's part of the. My travel setup. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Oh. So then you. You write what you take, and then. [00:03:45] Speaker A: Right. So you know what it is. Right. So if you are rolling out on a plane trip with these, I think it's called aged in oak. So these aged in oak travel kits. Right. So the beauty to this is you can put up to 3 ounces of. This one's a Four Roses, but I would. Four Roses is great, but I'm going to put tequila in it. So if you're going to fly and you want to take your own tequila with you on the plane, you can do that. And if you sit in the right place, they'll bring you a glass to drink it. And if you sit in the wrong place, they'll tell you you're not allowed. [00:04:18] Speaker B: To ask them for some orange juice and then. [00:04:21] Speaker A: Right. Yeah. Make yourself a tequila sunrise. Yeah. Can you ask for grenadine, too? Okay. This one's nose to me is a little more mineral, a little more earthy. [00:04:32] Speaker B: Sames. [00:04:33] Speaker A: Sames. [00:04:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:34] Speaker A: But colors are different, though, so not the same ones you tasting. [00:04:42] Speaker B: Yeah, it has like. Like what you would say. Cement, I think. [00:04:46] Speaker A: Oh, you're getting some pedricore. Okay. That's got some citrus in the finish. And it's got a lot of cooked agave in the beginning. The nose has, like, a little bit of funkiness with cooked agave. Hmm. I still think I know what this one is, but this one I'm unsure of. That's really good, though. [00:05:02] Speaker B: This kind of has, like, a spice to it. [00:05:05] Speaker A: So like a peppery spice or, like, all baking spice or cinnamon. [00:05:09] Speaker B: Like a cinnamon spice. [00:05:11] Speaker A: Okay, I think I know what that one is. Or not 100%. Number three, this. This has a very citrusy smell and. And very floral. [00:05:20] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So this one has a cinnamon. [00:05:25] Speaker A: Oh, really get a big cinnamon hit. [00:05:26] Speaker B: Cinnamon. I would say that's not cinnamon now. So from tasting this, I don't want to taste it again because I don't want that cinnamon to go away. [00:05:35] Speaker A: We'll taste it again. The cinnamon will still be there. [00:05:37] Speaker B: It may not be. [00:05:38] Speaker A: No, it's going to be. [00:05:39] Speaker B: It was. So that really has a cinnamon. Did not smell like a cinnamon, but. [00:05:45] Speaker A: Okay, that's. That's between two of them, I think. [00:05:48] Speaker B: Did you do your. [00:05:49] Speaker A: Yeah. Number four? I. I think I know what this one is for sure. Just off the nose on my number four. What's your. What's your number four smell like? [00:05:57] Speaker B: Like wet rain. [00:06:00] Speaker A: Yeah, I love wet rain. I got a little Pedrichor rain in one of these as well. Okay, now I'm going to have to. [00:06:07] Speaker B: Oh, this has a big burn. [00:06:09] Speaker A: Really? [00:06:09] Speaker B: In my mouth. [00:06:10] Speaker A: Yeah, it's, like, really hot. Like, peppery. [00:06:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:14] Speaker A: Make your mouth water a whole bunch. [00:06:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:16] Speaker A: Yeah, I like that. It tingles, like, in the back of your tongue. [00:06:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:19] Speaker A: That means it's really nice. That's a good tequila. [00:06:22] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, but they're all nice. [00:06:25] Speaker A: I mean, every one of these are drinkers. Like, these are amazing. And these brands, these four brands are off the charts. Good. El Tesoro, one of my favorite tequilas. It's a go to. We went to the liquor store today for Father's Day, and I picked up, you know, El Tesoro. That's my Father's Day prison. I was gonna go. I was gonna go a second time to pick up some more, but I didn't. And correcte de oro. I'm actually wearing the shirt today. I think this tequila is amazing. Renac is doing amazing things with not only tequila, but also putting out some great mezcals and musto. This is your friend Oscar Vazquez. This master distiller, Paolo and Dave, are bringing this tequila to the market, and it is so good. And then, of course, Yayo. [00:07:05] Speaker B: I Met Paolo and Dave at the thing. [00:07:08] Speaker A: You did not. No, they weren't there. You met Oscar. I met. [00:07:12] Speaker B: No, I knew Oscar. [00:07:13] Speaker A: Right. And Roberto from Zumbador. [00:07:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:07:15] Speaker A: Yeah. Great, Great people. Not. Paolo and Dave are great people too. They just weren't at the event. [00:07:20] Speaker B: I thought they were. [00:07:20] Speaker A: And then this. John Ballinger and Sergio Cruz bring us Yayo, which is one of my favorite brands. It truly is that. It's always got a great flavor. So this one is aged in rum cast. So it's actually four square rum, which a friend of mine bought me a bottle of I think 12 year 4 square rum as a gift when. When we did his mortgage closing. Yeah. So. And so this is. This has got a little bit of a tropical hint. Some great flavors that way. This tequila is aged in American white oak barrels. I honestly forget what Renax are aged in. I believe they're also American oak. [00:07:57] Speaker B: And his research and let you know. [00:07:59] Speaker A: Yeah. These guys are in Jim Beam barrels. To hona or crushed roller mill. Crushed roller mill. Crushed roller mill. Crushed. All of them are Highlands agaves. [00:08:10] Speaker B: You said that one was that way. [00:08:11] Speaker A: No, there's Highlands. Yeah, I thought. It's not. [00:08:14] Speaker B: Okay. They're all. [00:08:15] Speaker A: This is. Yeah, all Highlands agaves. This one's more like a middle land, but still in Los Altos region. So nothing vias. If I said that earlier. Yeah. I messed up in the beginning and I. I drank a little tequila before we got here. Yeah. And none of those were vias tequilas. They're all Highlands. But I like both, Honestly, I truly do. Okay, let's. You want to sip them one more time before you. You rate yours? [00:08:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:41] Speaker A: So I'm going to start with four. I'm going to go backwards. Okay. And what I'm going to do as you're drinking through them to rate them, I'm going to say number four to me. [00:08:50] Speaker B: Let me pull my note out of. [00:08:52] Speaker A: Well, I don't want to know yet. Oh, I'm going to say number four. Number four is Yayo. That's what I'm going to say on that. [00:09:00] Speaker B: Oh, that still has a cinnamon taste. So if you like cinnamon, whatever this one is, we will let you know. [00:09:07] Speaker A: That's. Both of those are so good. But these are my guesses here. So number three is going to be number two. It's going to be el tesoro, isn't it? I thought they said correct us in the notes. People love to correct. Okay, show. So here's my numbers. 4, yayo, 1. Musto, 3. Carete, 2. El tesoro repo. And then you have to tell me which one's your favorite. [00:09:38] Speaker B: Three. [00:09:39] Speaker A: Okay, so three is number one, and then one one's number two. [00:09:43] Speaker B: Number two is number three, and number four is number four. [00:09:47] Speaker A: Okay, so tell me if I got mine right first. Hold up your little paper. [00:09:51] Speaker B: Number three is el tesoro. [00:09:55] Speaker A: Really? Okay, so I got that wrong. [00:09:58] Speaker B: So then you obviously got number two wrong. [00:10:00] Speaker A: Right? What's number two? [00:10:01] Speaker B: Okay, number four is yayo. Okay, you did get that one right. Number two is masto. [00:10:09] Speaker A: And then number one, El tesoro. [00:10:12] Speaker B: Number one is correcta. [00:10:13] Speaker A: Oh, correct. They. Number three is so. So I got one right. But I really recognize the rum cast. But you know, that. That shocks me, because I had a different flavor profile in my mind for Musto, but still phenomenal. All of them phenomenal. Okay, so what's your favorite one you got there? What's number three is your favorite? Number three was your number one. Ooh. And remember I told you the other night, I poured you a glass and said, this is going to be your favorite repo. [00:10:40] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:10:41] Speaker A: Musto. Number three. Musto. [00:10:43] Speaker B: And that's my favorite. That's your favorite because that's the cinnamon. [00:10:46] Speaker A: Yeah, it does have a lot of cinnamon. I agree. In my mind, I. I picked up cinnamon and coretta de ora more than musto. [00:10:53] Speaker B: Oh. So is that number one? [00:10:56] Speaker A: For me, it was number one. I don't know. What's your next one? [00:10:59] Speaker B: Number one? [00:11:00] Speaker A: Number one, Crete de oro. [00:11:02] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, it had a little. That's. [00:11:04] Speaker A: Yeah, it had cinnamon, too. [00:11:05] Speaker B: Cinnamon. But then when I tasted that, I was like, oh, nope, that one's cinnamon. [00:11:08] Speaker A: Yep. Okay. And then what's your next one? [00:11:10] Speaker B: Number two is. Yeah, my number three, yayo. [00:11:14] Speaker A: And then the last one, El tesoro. Which. That doesn't surprise me because. And. And that's the one you said had all the rain in it. [00:11:21] Speaker B: Right, the pepper. [00:11:23] Speaker A: Pepper, yeah, because it's got a hot finish to it. You taste it? Does it got the rain in it? [00:11:28] Speaker B: I don't think it had rain. If it had the pepper, I don't know what that was I just tasted. [00:11:33] Speaker A: Now it's completely different. All right, guys, so there you go. I didn't want to rate them. 1, 2, 3, 4. And the ones that I like the best, because all four of these are brands that I'll pull out and drink anytime. El tesoro, to me, is a go to because it's easy for me to get. Musto is such a new flavor for me that I. I Love it. It's such an easy to drink tequila. Yayo. Their new repo is just off the charts good and correct. I really love everything they do. They're blanco, they're on yeho. Their repo is all amazing, so I'm. I'm surprised. I flipped a couple, but I can't get them right every time. Right. All right, well, thanks for doing this. [00:12:11] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:12] Speaker A: Now, you know what we have to do next, right? We mix them all into one. [00:12:15] Speaker B: Do our. [00:12:16] Speaker A: What's it called? We're blending. We're. Yeah, we're doing the. This is the. The tasting Tequila with Brad Summer blend. [00:12:24] Speaker B: You. [00:12:24] Speaker A: You ended up with a lot more tequila than me in that. Look. Look at her. That's gracious. And look at the color of that. That's really pretty. So now on the nose, I get, like, funkiness and cinnamon and. And I get some barrel and cooked agave. Like, the smell is completely different. It literally is. All of those smells in one. [00:12:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:41] Speaker A: What's that taste like? [00:12:42] Speaker B: I don't want to say it. It tastes like. It tastes like cough medicine. [00:12:47] Speaker A: Really? So to you, they were all four better by themselves? [00:12:50] Speaker B: Yes. [00:12:50] Speaker A: Then blended together. [00:12:52] Speaker B: The blancos were really good together. [00:12:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Every blanco we've blended is good. Changes it for you. [00:12:57] Speaker B: Yeah, it's something. [00:13:00] Speaker A: Sure. I mean, I tasted mine. It's the same four blended together. [00:13:03] Speaker B: I might have had more than. Of one than the other. [00:13:06] Speaker A: I did four perfect pours. [00:13:08] Speaker B: No. What I didn't drink that. [00:13:11] Speaker A: Doesn't taste like cough medicine to me. That. That tastes phenomenal. I want to say. I want to show one other thing. So my son knows that I love tequila. And they were at the liquor store one time and they seen this absolutely amazing bottle because it is an amazing bottle. Now, the tequila that came in it, nom. 1466 Casino. Maybe not the best tequila. So we used it up. We use this tequila in lots of mixed cocktails. When friends and people that weren't really friends came over, right? The real friends, they got a good mixer. The people that weren't friends, they got. They got these right there. They're watching. It's okay. They won't know who they are. So what I decided to do after I finished it, because one, this bottle is an amazing bottle. Make a comment if you think this bottle is cool. So what I did is I turned it into an infinity bottle. So when I get a new tequila sent to me, one ounce of the blancos that come here, go in here. One ounce of the repos in here, one ounce of the Anejos in here. So kind of like what we just did here, blending a bunch of tequilas together. And today I finished setting this up. So all blancos, all repos, all Anejos and. [00:14:20] Speaker B: But multiple different. [00:14:22] Speaker A: All different brands. Yeah, there's some Fortaleza in there. There's some El Tesoro. There's some Corete de Oro. There's some Yayo, some Siempre. I mean, they're. They're all in there. I just started picking some of my favorite brands and pouring an ounce of each one. So I'm really excited about having this to use as an infinity bottle. And I do have a. My new stickers on there as well. It comes out of this little spout. So you're going to start to see this bottle in a lot of my videos in the corner here. And every once, I'm going to be sipping on these. So there you go. Thank Blake's. Thank you, Blakers. All right. Thanks for doing this with me again, babe. [00:14:56] Speaker B: Yeah, you're welcome. I'll see everybody in about a month. [00:15:00] Speaker A: About a month, that's right. All right, babe. [00:15:01] Speaker B: I think it was a little bit longer than a month this time, but why is that? I don't know. [00:15:07] Speaker A: You. You still drink. [00:15:08] Speaker B: Get so busy. [00:15:09] Speaker A: You drink tequila, though. [00:15:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:11] Speaker A: You just don't always want to do it on camera. [00:15:13] Speaker B: No. [00:15:14] Speaker A: Well, thanks for doing it on camera. [00:15:15] Speaker B: You're welcome. [00:15:16] Speaker A: All right, thanks for tuning in, everybody. Have a great night. If you could comment, share, like, tell me what you like about these videos and what you'd like me to keep doing. And salud for you, babe. [00:15:26] Speaker B: Cheers. [00:15:27] Speaker A: Cheer.
