[00:00:00] I've got a question for you. Is your favorite Tequila brand doing more than just tasting good? Tonight I'm going to highlight six brands that are giving back and changing lives. We always talk about our favorite nom and their techniques. But today I'm going to focus on tequila with a purpose and feature some brands that are giving back. [00:00:20] Even though a couple of them may not be my favorite brands. We're going to start with one of my favorites, Velour tequila and the Huinta Foundation. One of the things we know so much about them is their hard work on bringing cisterns to a town right outside of the town of Tequila. So everybody has fresh water. But one of the things we don't talk about are some of the other things that they do. They're helping with education and shelters and essential aid. They're helping elevate the income amongst the workers there. So Villar and Puente Buena foundation, they're doing so much. This is one of the Tequilas that really is helping change the way not only tequila is made in the region, but helping the people there that make it number two. [00:01:03] Polanco Tequila. These guys partner with charity funds to bring clean water projects to regions. Every purchase helps deliver access to safe drinkable water in Mexico. This is a brand that I haven't talked about yet on the show. We're going to. We have an interview that's been done with the brand ambassador. We're going to talk all about how Polanco has been made and what they're doing to help the region in fresh water. How about tequila Ocho? We all love Ocho, right? Advocates of sustainable single estate agave with traditional farming. They're really honoring the legacy of Tomas Estes who champion transparency and cultural respect for tequila. These guys are doing a lot. We can't leave out batroun local jobs, clean water systems, reforestation of Jalisco operates one of the most eco conscious tequila facilities in the industry. They're really doing a lot of things and this is one of those brands that hasn't ever been my go to Tequila. But I have to respect what they're doing for the region, the people. And it's such a large company that's putting out so much tequila that they have a focus on helping people in their area. So patron bottle that I don't have here, but I'm going to flash it on the screen right now for Copas Tequila. A pioneer in organic tequila using clean chemical free farming. Their mission supports soil health, biodiversity and agave sustainability. I got an interview coming up with them soon. And I can't wait to try their tequila. And I can't leave out Maestro the Obel. I probably said it wrong. They have the Amatan Foundation. Through their foundation, they provide scholarships, educational programs and community support in Amatitan, Jalisco. This legendary brand making a local impact where it matters. They're not just brands, they're movements. They're providing tequila that is fantastic and can uplift and empower and inspire. Do you know another tequila is doing good? Tag them and comment below. I'd love to highlight them next.
